I have been delighted with Plato's Closet since it opened. Reasonable prices and fair pricing. I wanted to commend the staff team that was employed last Saturday ....the store was inundated yet several staff members exceeded my expectations of exemplary customer service and deserve recognition for being assets to their employ..their names are : Riley, Jamie, Liv and Kim....hard-working, professional, proactive and amazing. Thanks guys for making my visit special!

I used to sell all the time to platos in Ontario never an issue!. Selling your stuff is upto the individual behind the counter, and each member will take differnt things. I totally get that, and getting a couple dollars for stuff I'm not going to wear is not a problem! My issue is, when you bring over 75 pieces of name brand, new clothing with tags still on and they reject them saying there's wear on them ..... (they are brand new (work in retail)) when half the stuff in shop now is dirty or out of style half the stuff on the floor looks like you can get at value village and they reject brand new items. Like if you don't want it just say that but don't lie about it. That's not good business or good customer service .

Plato's closet is a great place to sale and buy clothes and accessories. All sizes and styles are available. Some 70's and 80's cloth are hidden treasures. We found some brand pieces to a good price. Handbags and hats, even little accessories where a good deal. We live going ,as we can always try to sale our cloth and either get cash or store credits. It's always worth a try.

Brought clothes in today and was disappointed with the transaction that transpired. Not concerned about what they bought or didn’t (not that they have the highest quality goods )but bothered by the lack of care. Brought my items in neatly folded and in a container only to receive them thrown back in with the lid barely fitting. I do not disrespect your store and would at the least expect the same in return.

I was looking for a place to donate my clothes and found this store that would actually pay for used clothes. I read some one star reviews and saw that people are complaining getting a few dollars for their clothes. One lady even expected to get 40% of what she paid. So, if she bought a jacket for $100, she wanted Plato to pay her $40! It’s a used jacket! Plato probably can’t even sell it for $40. It’s a business, not a charity. Plato has overhead and staffing. Most places take your old clothes for free. So if you want to sell your clothes for more than a nickel on a dollar, do it yourself on social media or open your store. Don’t give a business one star just because you can’t do math. I do not know the owner, and have not been to the store, but thank you for bringing this concept to Abbotsford.

As much as i am a fan of the trade in program they have, they had taken a BRAND new carhartt hoodie along with two other items and gave me $12, this is outrageous as we know they are going to turn around and sell the same carhartt hoodie for $100.

I used to come here and sell my items with my friends. We all decided to not go any longer as we found the money we were given, for our items was not very reasonable. Either high end brand name items, brand new clothing from expensive stores, or in general just really expensive items I was given sometimes. $5-$10 for. I think they should be giving customers at least 40% for what they bring in. Of course obviously has to be in good condition and worth selling for. I’ve just heard many people complain about that specifically about Plato’s. I think they would gain a lot more customers and business if there was a change in that…..

Really solid store, but my most recent visit here was a bit of a letdown. Everything was super messy and disorganized, not sized, and a lot of it was just junk Shein and AliExpress clothes. Used to be way more name brands. …
